Bindu space for artists is committed to becoming a meeting point for innovative art practitioners to share and develop imaginative concepts and visions. The first event Bindu organized was a Mithila workshop at Janakpur, Nepal in 2006. In the following years, they have organized both national and international performance art events, video art workshops, artist talks, artists’ residencies, and printmaking workshops and exhibitions. Artist’s Statement
One can create for a long time only to discover that they know little to nothing about what they create. I come to the canvas with a curious and open mind with tools in hand trying to connect dots of the human psyche.
The Mind of the Maker is an investigation into the very nature of God’s creativity. When man intuitively perceives The Mind, which is beyond perception, that is when one realizes the true identity of self. He frees himself from ignorance and attains the Supreme— he attains all desires.

About the Artist
Pauline Driard discovered drawing by chance and fell in love with it straight away. Sketches, watercolor, portraits, improvisation, perspective, she tried different things, until she encountered Zen painting – or Chan painting, sumi-e ink painting – thanks to Jerome Edou, who became her master. Binod Pradhan’s exhibition Sacred Realms marks the artist’s fourth solo exhibition at the Siddhartha Art Gallery. Nepal’s landscapes, her cityscapes, culture, and its fragility have always been the locus of the artist’s work.
